MISS CULTURE 2019

As we all know Africans are full of cultures and the traditions are unique and Sierra Leone is no exception. But nowadays we see everyone involved in the act of diminishing these unique cultures and accepting the colonial ways of life. There is no room for sensitization for the upcoming generations hence there is a great amount of ignorance of the cultures of our beloved nation This has given a reason for even the filmmakers in the country not to be aware of a particular culture of certain set of people. Hence the adoption of foreign cultures in the making of their movies.
Culture and traditions need to be revived. Hence the idea of Miss & Miss Teen Culture, an all-night event in the guise of a pageant which will open a platform for individuals to showcase the cultures and traditions of their ethnic group they belong to.
The event will bring about a change in the mind-set of people especially the upcoming generation toward the idea of our cultures in the country. People will understand their tribal culture and tradition. During the program, we will have some amount of sensitization which we believe will help in the improvement of the national peace, which guaranties unity, that enhances freedom, and justice will prevail. As the quote of arms of the country.
In the event, 12 beautiful queens would be in a platform after an audition is held for the showcase of their ethnic cultures. During this course, we shall assess:
Dress code
Fitness
And a presentation on a topic we will give for the participants related to motivating cultural activities.

MISS CULTURE beauty pageant aims at promoting the culture of Sierra Leone through various platforms which includes:

Child Improvement
Language promotion
Fight against Indecency

We also aim at promoting the country by opening gates for tourism, complimenting the effort of the ministry of tourism of cultural affairs by making ways to unleash the effort of young people to do more researches about cultural heritage and empowering women.
