Her smile makes her pretty; her body makes her sexy but her brain makes her beautiful.

Aminata Dura Kamara was raised by a single mom who played the role of both parents, knowing what it meant to be responsible and hard working at a tender age. through so many challenges she initiated the platform “CHARITY FOR THE LESS PRIVILEGED”. She took her NPSE exams at the age of 10 her exemplary performance gained her admission at Sierra Leone’s IVY league secondary school, The Annie Walsh Memorial..
At the age of 17 ,she had already slated her WASSCE exams and was already at Sierra Leone pinnacle of learning Fourah Bay college(FBC). A proud owner of a certificate in population analysis and social statistics.

She wanted more in terms of academia, so she proceeded to Njala university where she is currently studying banking and finance.
In 2018, Dura hit the pageantry limelight and was crowned “Miss Njala university” she then represented her university at AYV miss university 2018 and was crowned “1st runners up for AYV MISS UNIVERSITY 2018”.As a very ambitious girl, she did not just stop there she was also crowned “ MISS BONTHE DISTRICT 2018” which got her to where she is today. Her mom who has an origin from Bonthe said Bonthe district has been the backbone to both her and her daughter’s success and she ( Aminata) said the only way she can repay Bonthe district is by representing the district. Her charity platform is based on helping disabled, aged and most girls in her community.

“disabled people are less considered Which leads to them left to be begging on the streets ; whilst the aged people are nor cared for.” If she happens to be “ MISS SIERRA LEONE 2019, she will be a voice to advocate for the less privileged and boost her a platform for their voices to be heard.
Her platform is to enable the disabled voices to be heard and also give hope to them that disability is not inability.
She also added that the platform is to help young girls be focused and determined that no matter what happens in life “I will stand strong and do not let my present condition stop me from reaching my goals.”
She is an advocate for these people who do not have the courage to go through what she went through at an early age.
