Kadijah Koroma (Dijah Kay) was born 14th April, Is one of six children born in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She hails from her home town of Kabala and is a Kuranko/Madingo by tribe.
As a child Kadijah Koroma grew up in Makeni and later moved to Freetown where she continued her education. As an adult studying Marketing and Business Administration, she discovered that she had a very keen interest in acting. She then decided to pursue a career in acting and joined a production group (Jamcast Production) in 2005 and was

fortunate to gain lots of theoretical and practical experience in acting for film. Consequently, in 2008, Kadijah played the lead role in a movie (Tears on my Pillow). In 2012, Dijah Kay was again in another movie (Wait a Little longer) as lead actress.
It is necessary to state that Kadijah Koroma actually started acting when she was in primary school. She was always the favorite when it came to staging plays and skits in school programmes such as prize giving ceremonies. Having caught up with acting at a tender age, it did not come as too surprising that the adult Kadijah Koroma is now a household name in the budding Sierra Leone film industry.
Additionally, to add to her CV and demonstrate that she was indeed born to act, Dijah Kay played interesting and demanding roles in movies acted on site in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria and the UK since then.

Dijah Kay in further accomplishment of her career recently completed an acting course from one of the prestigious film schools in the UK – (METFILM School).
Dijah Kay is very passionate about acting and she has not relented to gain more knowledge and experience. She relishes acting because the joy she gets being in front of the camera is blissful.
In partial fulfillment of her ambition, she established Dijah Kay Production; a company that comprises of a beauty pageant titled Sierra Leone Beauty Pageant for Senior Secondary School, specifically designed to groom young girls who may want to build a career in modeling.
She also manages a project titled Next Talent Icon which is designed to identify different talents in Sierra Leone. She is also a movie producer and hopes to release movies she has produced anytime soon.
She was quite recently nominated Best Actress of the year 2017 and Best Supporting Actress (in a film, Elephant in the Room) In the National Entertainment Awards. She won the SISTERS CHOICE AWARD 2018 for Actress of the year. In her early career she was in Golden Faces of Sierra Leone.
Her influence on budding actors and actresses in Sierra Leone cannot be overemphasized. When it comes to creativity in the film industry, Kadijah Koroma stands taller than most, not only because she is charming, adorable and knows

her trade well, but also because she has consistently and aggressively ensured that she masters well any role given to her. Indeed, Kadijah Koroma is a force to reckon with when it comes to film acting in Sierra Leone and beyond.
